Imagine being able to show performances from National Theatre Live, Shakespeare's Globe or The Royal Opera House in your community centre, village hall, library or pub - transforming it into a pop-up cinema for the night.
Cinegi is the fully digital film distribution service for legal public screenings of filmed media in full HD that enables any venue to become a 'cinema', bringing the magic of the stage right to the heart of communities.
We have a catalogue of filmed theatre, music, dance, ballet, and opera which can be screened easily to audiences in all kinds of venues. There's also a range of extraordinary treasures from Britain on Film and archive arts and documentary titles from the BFI.
Anybody can be a promoter, able to organise a screening – browse the catalogue of titles, create and book a unique programme for your audiences.
Cinegi requires no proprietary kit, works over standard broadband, is simple to use and £99 inc VAT is the standard minimum price you pay when you book a single screening.
This is an invitation to a free, informal, information session for promoters and venue managers, open to anyone who has run or is interested in putting on a screening event.
Presented by Cinegi Arts&Film Venues and Communications Manager, Denzil Monk, who has run hundreds of screening events in all kinds of venues.
The presentation will include an overview of the Cinegi Arts&Film platform, exploring the catalogue of available titles, and showing how you can create your own programme from these.
As well as showing you how to get set up with and use the Cinegi platform, Denzil will share tips and ideas about how to set up and run community screenings and build an audience for your events, and where you can find resources and support.
